Mountain Bikes

We've been receiving several requests as to whether our boxes fit mountain bikes so we've created a separate page to provide further information.

The simple answer is Yes.  Our boxes do cater for mountain bikes and we've included some technical information below that will assist, however, if you have any further questions, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

To pack a mountain bike in either one of our boxes both the handlebars and forks must be removed.

The Triathlon Aero Easyfit fits the following dimension of mountain bikes:

• 76cm diameter wheels, including tyres inflated, which are to a maximum of 7.6cm (3") wide
• Frames from the bottom of the crank to the top of the seat at a maximum of 98cm (with the seat attached), or 98cm to the top of an integrated seat post (with the seat removed).
• Frames to a maximum of 151cm from the head tube to the bottom of the rear mech.
• Handlebars to a maximum of 95cm.

The Easyfit is designed for the larger Enduro Mountain Bikes.

The Premium fits the following dimension of mountain bikes:

• 67.3cm (26.5") diameter wheels, with tyres deflated, which are to a maximum of 2.5cm wide deflated.
• Frames from the bottom of the crank to the top of the seat at a maximum of 85cm (with the seat attached) or 92cm to the top of an integrated seat post (with the seat removed).
• Frames to a maximum of 115cm from the head tube to the bottom of the rear mech.
• Handlebars to a maximum of 80cm.

We do request that mountain bikes, as with all bikes, are cleaned before they packed in one of our boxes both when travelling abroad and when returning to England.
