Damage Waiver Policy

1. Overview
This Damage Waiver Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms and conditions under which Marple Bike Box Hire Limited ("we", "our", or "us") provides an optional damage waiver to customers ("you" or "the Hirer") when hiring bike boxes from us.
The purpose of the Damage Waiver is to reduce the Hirer’s financial liability for accidental damage to the hired bike box during the hire period, subject to the terms below.
2. What is the Damage Waiver?
The Damage Waiver is an optional, non-refundable payment that, if purchased, limits the Hirer's responsibility for repair or replacement costs arising from accidental damage to the latches, wheels and foam on a hired bike box during the hire term.
The Damage Waiver only applies to these 3 items (latches, wheels and foam). Any other loss, theft or damage is not covered by the Damage Waiver and is dealt with as per the Terms and Conditions of hire

In these cases, the Hirer will be liable for the full cost of repair or replacement, as determined by Marple Bike Box Hire Limited and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
5. Damage Reporting Requirements
All damage to the foam, wheels or clasps, regardless of severity, must be reported to us within 24 hours of discovery or upon return of the box. Failure to report damage in this timeframe may void the waiver.

Without the Damage Waiver, the Hirer is fully responsible for all repair or replacement costs to the foam, clasps or wheels as follows:
8. How to Purchase the Damage Waiver
The Damage Waiver must be paid for at the time of booking or at the time of collection. It cannot be added retroactively once the hire period has begun.
9. Refunds
The Damage Waiver fee is non-refundable, even if no damage occurs or the hire is cancelled.
10. Policy Changes
Marple Bike Box Hire Limited reserves the right to update or amend this Damage Waiver Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not apply retroactively.
